Rypter (Desktop/Quest Compatible VRChat Avatar)

This is Rypter! They are a little eurypterid goober that comes with the basic features, no visemes or gestures, has settings ready for the Poiyomi Toon shader. They're looking for a good home, maybe a nice aquarium to vibe in!

Ready to throw into VRChat with little effort, has VRCFury and good performance rating (PC). Comes with a model sheet/concept art and the .blend project file in case you wanna edit them. Their little arms don't work /that/ well in VR but on desktop they are perfect.

Comes as is but if you reach out I'm 100% willing to help you with anything you'd need.

This was made using 2022 version of unity and the latest versions of VRCFury and Poiyomi Toon shader, please make sure you are using that or it may break. (Pop those into the assets folder before adding the .unitypackage!) VRChat Creator Companion is recommended for ease of use, but not required.

I've included a README that can help you out if you haven't uploaded an avatar before, but it still requires a bit of patience and some technical know-how.

  • Make public versions of this model in VRChat.
  • Make clothing or accessories for the avatar as long as both parties own the avatar and the only thing from the original avatar is the rig/armature to make the asset function accordingly.
  • Kit-bashing is allowed if all parties involved own the avatars used.
